Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) Cookie Warning Message How to change cookie warning in Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) Site? The Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) providing out of the box (OOTB) component/rendering to display the custom Cookie Warning messages on the website. The content for this cookie component present at Tenant/SITE/Settings/Cookie Warning. With this setting you can change the display message. Also, if your site is multi-lingual then add each language version and if you don’t want to display cookie message on website then you can remove Cookie message component from Meta Partial Design.

Sitecore Error Troubleshooting: Database 'xxx' cannot be opened due to inaccessible files or insufficient memory/ Database in Recovery Pending State: In my local system, I was having space issue, so i tried to move all SQL DB files (*.mdf and *.ldf) from C drive to D drive. For this I followed the site Sqlshack.com . After all the steps, I stared getting the error Database 'XXX' cannot be opened due to inaccessible files or insufficient memory or disk space.  See the SQL Server errorlog for details and Database in Recovery Pending State. After spending some time, I found that this issue is related to the Folder level access for SQL Server, due to this Sitecore instance not able to access the Database files and SQL Server 2016 databases showing as Recovery Pending State: To verify the current state of Database, i executed SQL query: And found that some DB's was ONLINE and rest are in RECOVERY_PENDING state: To resolve the Database '

Apply Custom Styling (CSS) on Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) Site and OOTP Components: In the previous article " Customize Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) OOTB Components: Part-1 " we created the custom css style file, which contains the customization for Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) OOTB Carousel component. Now, we have to apply the custom css style file in the SXA website  and for this we will be utilizing the Themes which created during the creation of SXA Site . For this login into Sitecore CMS as ADMIN and go to  SXA website  custom theme location /sitecore/media library/Themes/Company/Brand A/India/IndiaTheme/styles : In the above content tree the details about Tenant Folder/Tenant/Site are: =>Company (Tenant Folder)       > Brand A (Tenant)                     o   India (Site) For example name of custom css style file is company-component-carousel.css . Customize Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) OOTB Components: Part-1 The Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA), providing more than 100 out of the box (OOTB) components which you can use to create the website by just adding into the pages. These components provides friendly Experience Editor behavior. These components comes with out of the box styling and will not fulfill Business needs. In those cases, we have to customize the SXA OOTB components as per Business needs. The most of the SXA components supports customization of UI using CSS classes. Now we will try to add Carousel component on page, so go to page click on Add Here and it will open pop-up which will display set of SXA OOTB components. Site Items in Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA): Once site has been created Sitecore Experience Accelerator create many items in Sitecore content tree and details are: Sitecore SXA Site item : This Sitecore item is very important item and contain all site related details including Page items, Site core site data, Partial Design and Page Design. Sitecore SXA Site Media Library item: For every SXA site there is separate media library folder created at /sitecore/media library/Project/Tenant Folder/Tenant/DEV, here DEV is the Site name and also there is virtual folder of Media item in Main content tree after the HOME item. Sitecore SXA Site Theme item: For every SXA site there is separate Theme folder created at /sitecore/media library/Themes/ Tenant Folder / Tenant /DEV/Dev  here DEV is the Site name and Dev is the theme name mentioned during the Site creation activity in Theme tab.
