Live like a leader : Integrity

I think, you can't control what people say or think about you. You can't control the decisions prospective clients make. You can't control the economy, the stock market or the weather.

In this unstable environment, there is one thing over which you have absolute control: your integrity. One thing which is true for all that no body can stole your destiny. If somebody tries to steal it from you but then you can save it with your integrity.

You can’t exhibit your integrity; it drives from the mathematical term: integer. An integer is a whole number. It is not divided. If a person has integrity, he/she is the leader. Their lifestyle doesn’t change with the time because their morals, ethics and treatment towards other person remains same all the time.

Integrity is the pillar of leadership. Integrity determines the way we work within the Group.
There is no alternate of personal integrity. At a time when an employee faces a difficult situation he/she should think on these points:

  • Is my action or decision legal?
  • Is the action taken by me, according to my values and suitable for the situation.

If the answer to above mentioned question is “yes”, the action or decision is most likely to be the correct one which is Golden rule to maintain integrity.

you look at all the religions in the world, they all have the identical Golden Rule, almost word to word. It doesn't make any difference what religion or geography it is.

When you follow the Golden Rule and live with integrity, you set an example that has a far greater impact than the words you could ever speak. That’s it from my side and now up to you how maintain your integrity to live like a leader.

The yesterday (11th September’07) was the inaugural ceremony of ICC Twenty20 (T20) world cup. This inaugural ceremony was not like other ICC tournament, the ceremony was very lively and the performance of band was showing cool cheerleaders.
